the reception checked me in , i sat down for about 20 mins, then was called in to the treatment room. within 1/2 an hour i was on my way home
I was admitted to hospital for an operation on 21st january 2013 and apart from a long painful wait in A and E, due to snow and lots of people coming in.When I arrived on the ward F6 I was treated very well and all of the nurses and other staff were very kind and helpful and professional and friendly. They made a painful stay as comfortable as possible.
could have been a bit dryer on the floors
I attended as an outpatient today and apart from a slight delay in being seen which I am sure cannot be helped, I cannot fault it.
It was fine for me, as an outpatient.
All the staff at West Suffolk Hospital where friendly and helpful.
Waiting area seating needs a bit of TLC to bring up to 100%
Myself and my family have always received excellent care and treatment at West Suffolk Hospital and have never had a bad experience. The only downside to WSH is parking, which at peak times can be a lottery and cause a late arrival for appointments.
Unfortunatly in 2012, I had to visit Hospital quite a few times... I originally visited Ipswich Hospital, but soon lost all confidence in our health service...
Thankfully, transferring across to Bury restorted my faith in the NHS...
good care
